Occasionally, I will purchase a piece of moudling that I think will look good for a certain job, and find out that it is not the best fit for the artwork. I will then finish the project with a frame that works better for that job. I then have moulding in stock that is "extra". I will offer a special price for a custom frame job using that piece of moulding.

I have 6' 10" of a gold-ish moulding that is enough to frame a much smaller work of art. I can frame an 8" x 8" picture using a smaller 2" double mat with the amount of moulding I have. This is also a fairly wide wood moulding that will highlight many keepsakes.
